Clarification of low blood pressure symptom described on DHC’s “Mystery ER”
Discovery Health Channel’s “Mystery ER” presented a program on KLS featuring Adam and the trials and tribulations his parents, Cindy and Paul, endured in finding a diagnosis for their son. The show airs again on August 8th at 10 p.m. (EST) and on August 9th at 1 a.m. (EST).
During the show, Adam is given emergency medical attention when his blood pressure suddenly drops. As a point of clarification for viewers and to inform all those concerned, the KLS Foundation has contacted Adam’s mother and verified that Adam has a pre-existing blood pressure ailment that is not related to nor characteristic of KLS. It is unfortunate that this was not clear from the TV show.
